It’s Harvest time and HLWM and our children are having fun doing arts and crafts with the harvest season in mind. There has been salt dough pumpkins made along with making apple donuts to playing pass the apple games.
For fun our older children were in a contest to see how many apple recipes they could come up with. A minimum of 50 recipes earned them a fresh piece of homemade apple pie and the student who created the biggest list got to take home a whole home made pie to their family. We are looking forward this week to having a Harvest Party and will take this right on into November.
