Happenings!
Badin Volunteers are the Best!
Badin High School students share that volunteering is so much more than giving of your time! Though they were brought to us through their Service Program, they provide so much more than their time to both our staff and our children. Continue reading
Blessed by our Badin Students!
The last several weeks we have seen and heard so much. Last week we were blessed to have some of our favorite Badin High School tutors make children notes for our meals. Looking at one note, lead to sharing with our staff. We can’t tell you how much we smiled at your riddles, were reminded of God’s Word and how your notes encouraged us! We miss each of you and can’t wait to see you. Thank you for caring!
Mask and Gloves donations!
Thank you Cindy Cabrera for providing masks and gloves for our staff to ensure we are staying healthy and keeping others protected while distributing meals!
Garden Preparations!
Even though it is chilly outside, Don Hanson is preparing for our children to tend to our gardens soon! He is teaching them to have “green thumbs” and they sure enjoy reaping the harvest. Thank you Mr. Don, we appreciate all that you do for us. When we are able, he could use some extra hands.
Coats for Kids!
TREO Realtors is partnering with Hamilton Living Water Ministry, Inc. (HLWM) with a Coat Drive to help children at risk in Hamilton’s inner city. HLWM, a non-profit organization, provides a number of services to its community including:
- After school programs
- Enrichment and Prevention Programs

- Neighborhood Services
Teen Room Reconstruction
Our Teen Program continues to grow and were outgrowing their space. With the help of the Hamilton Community Foundation, we were able to reconstruct the former front office into our new Teen Room.
New Kitchen Equipment
We are so blessed to have received grant funding from the Ohio River Valley District of the United Methodist Church and individual donors which enabled us to purchase this new freezer and refrigerator!
